Tips for Creating Stylish Christmas Photo Cards

  • Use high resolution photos. Photos taken with your mobile phone will not likely not be your best option, especially is your card is a larger size.
  • When using multiple photos in a collage, make sure they coordinate well.
  • Try picking a theme for your photos. May the whole family has antlers and red noses, or everyone is in holiday sweaters. A theme can be classic or silly, but it makes the photos more interesting!
  • Candid photos are often more visually appealing than posed photos
  • Avoid using photos that are dark or blurry, these will not print well on your card
  • Sometimes less is more, even with a tri fold card. Over crowding with too many photos doesn't let any of the photos shine.
  • Use the layout pre-set by the card design and add your photos as the custom touch.
  • Take your photos early! That way if you need to do a re-shoot you are not scrambling at the last minute.
